Road safety products are those elements that are used to improve the safety of people on public roads. Its objective is to prevent accidents, reduce damage if they occur and delimit the areas where vehicles and pedestrian flow.

Bumpers are road safety features that are used to force vehicles out of a certain specific area. They are installed in risk areas, such as busy dual lanes, pedestrian crossings, unauthorized crossings or parking areas.

Bumpers can be made of different materials, such as concrete, plastic, or rubber. They can also have different shapes, such as cylindrical, square, or triangular.

Bumpers can be classified into two main types:

  • Parking stops: These are installed in parking areas to prevent vehicles from leaving marked spaces
  • Safety bumpers: These are installed in risk areas, such as sharp curves, pedestrian crossings, or construction zones, to prevent vehicles from leaving the road
